Used my immersion blender and it worked perfectly. Added more blue cheese because… why not… and it was delicious
Very good. I did add a bit more bleu cheese and one drop of lemon essential oil. It gave it just a hint of brightness. Some extra ground pepper.
Simple to make, I like to let my dressings set to age for at least 24 hrs.
That is if I can keep myself out of it. Because the testing while making it’s. FABULOUS!!! It’s well worth making.
Awesome! This was great, had a nice steakhouse dinner at home, and the bleu cheese wedge was the highlight. Amazing how something so simple can be so delicious.
This was quite simple! I didn’t have buttermilk so made my own with heavy cream, didn’t have any milk, and lemon juice. I put more blue cheese than 2 ounces and whipped it in my mini chop. This is far better than any store bought dressings which have a lot of preservatives. Next time I may substitute plain yogurt for the sour cream. Thank you for this!
This salad dressing is so delicious! And I donโt even like blue cheese (normally). I love it! I used an immersion blender and definitely added some extra chunks of cheese to make it thick and cheesy.
Delicious! This was my first attempt at a wedge salad. Salad and dressing were yummy. Will definitely use this recipe again. Served with salmon and mashed potatoes. What’s not to love?
What can you use to substitute for the buttermilk?
This is a nice dressing. I doubled the vinegar and used red wine vinegar. I would add more blue cheese after blending all together. Very nice flavor.
Made the dressing for this and it was so quick, easy and delicious! Thank you!
