This Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce is perfect for dipping fries, chicken, or whatever else your heart desires.  Super easy to make at home.
{Copycat} Chick-Fil-A-Sauce recipe! Perfect for dipping. Easy to make | Houseofyumm.com

Chick-Fil-A is one of those places that just make me happy.  The spicy chicken is my favorite.  Along with the waffle fries.  And of course the whole meal is not complete without my sweet tea and about a gallon of Chick-Fil-A sauce.  I just want to swim in that stuff.  Does anyone else go to the window and ask as politely as possible if they could pleeease have more sauce?  Or is that just me?  I’m always so disappointed when I get home and my bag only has two of those little delicious packages in there.  I almost want to cry.

Well, those days are no more!!  This sauce tastes just like the real deal.  And I will admit to devouring this entire plate of fries and the whole batch of sauce all to myself as soon as this photoshoot was done.  Well, actually I did share a couple of fries with the older girls.  Since they were staring.  It only seemed right to give them some.  Next time I will be sure to make this snack when they have already gone to bed and I can have the whole plate all to myself!

I’m beginning to notice that a lot of my recipe inspiration comes from some of my favorite restaurants, and it is completely possible that I will soon reach a point where I don’t need to go out anywhere because I can just make the food from home.  Do you suppose I am doing this on purpose so I never have to change out of my yoga pants?  The hubs is beginning to get scared.   Either way, this sauce is an absolute must!!!  Next on my list is to conquer their spicy chicken.  That Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich makes me weak in the knees.  If I could master that at home even the hubs wouldn’t mind the fact that I don’t dress up.

Nummy! I love Chick-Fil-A sauce and now I can make it at home! It’s funny that now I’m planning a menu around the sauce. Fries, chicken tenders… 😉

You want to hear something truly, utterly sad? There are no Chick Fil A’s anywhere near our house. Like, we need to cross a bridge and travel multiple hours to get to one. Yea, I know… the horror!!! Love that I can bring this sauce into my kitchen!! Sweet 🙂

Just curious, what kind of barbecue sauce do you use for this recipe? There are so many out there and they all taste so different, I can imagine it would make the sauce taste different depending on what type you use. Thanks!

Hi Melissa! I just used an Original BBQ sauce when I made mine. And the sauce turned out wonderful! I do imagine using a different kind would change up the flavor a little bit.

I will definitely try this, but you can also mimic the Chik-Fil-A sauce with Trader Joe’s Carolina Gold BBQ sauce and mayonnaise. Generally I use equal parts of the two ingredients.

Hi Diane, I use Original BBQ sauce when I make this. It doesn’t matter which brand, I’ve tried several. I typically just have a generic store brand on hand that I use 🙂 You can use the sweet and spicy also, but it will give that flavor to the Chick Fil A sauce also. Hope that helps!

We live in Canada, where there are no Chick-fil-a restaurants. I made this with the Copycat Chick-fil-a nuggets from Kristen Schell, and my husband said (I didn’t tell him what it was) “This kind of looks like Chick-fil-a sauce” *tastes it* “It is Chick-fil-a sauce! Where did you get it?” haha, thanks for the awesome recipe!

OHHHH MY GOODNESS! I almost at the entire batch of this! It tastes EXACTLY like Chick-fil-A Sauce and even though I tweaked a few things to my taste and diet (I’m vegan so i used vegan mayo and im not a fan of regular dijon so i used honey dijon and because of that i only used 1 tbs of honey). Thank you so much for this 😁🖒

Delicious! I followed your recipe exactly and the flavor was spot-on! I used a “smokey” bbq sauce from trader joe’s. The consistency and color were different, it was a little runny, but neither of those bothered me! Thanks for sharing!

Just followed the recipe to a ‘t’ and this is NOTHING like the real chick-fil-a sauce. Not sure what everyone else is tasting but this is NO WHERE NEAR the awesomeness from chick-fil-a. Very disappointed.
