Easy Healthy Cod Fish Tacos

Quick and easy, these cod fish tacos come together in 20 minutes plus marinating time! Perfect for a weeknight meal.

INGREDIENTS

Cod | Olive Oil | Garlic Cloves Chili Powder | Ground Cumin Cayenne Pepper | Salt | Lime FISH TACO SAUCE Mayonnaise | Sour Cream Hot Sauce | Lime | Garlic Powder FOR TACOS Corn Tortillas | Shredded Cabbage Cojita Cheese | Pico de Gallo

Combine the fish taco seasoning with olive oil and fresh lime juice to make a marinade.  Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 8 hours in the refrigerator.

Combine the ingredients for the sauce, then store in a sealed container in the refrigerator until you’re ready to assemble the tacos. Cook the cod until the fish is opaque and cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes.

To warm the tortillas heat them on a skillet or comal. Heating the tortillas makes them softer and less likely to rip or break.

Assemble the tacos by layering cabbage, the fish, and pico de gallo. Drizzle with fish taco sauce and top with crumbled cotija.
