Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • teaspoon baking powder ¾
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Prepare the waffle iron by spraying with a non stick cooking spray and preheating.
  • In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir to
    combine.
  • In a smaller bowl, combine the granulated sugar, buttermilk, butter, and eggs. Whisk to combine.
  • Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients 1⁄3 at a time, mixing in between.
  • Pour the batter onto the waffle iron. Cook according to the directions of your waffle maker or until waffles are cooked through and crispy on both sides.
