This Apple Cider Margarita is a perfectly balanced blend of chilled tequila and tart lemon with sweet cider, topped off with a cinnamon sugar rim for a delightful fall margarita.

Ingredients

  • ounces triple sec
  • ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 3 ounces apple cider
  • ½ teaspoon maple syrup

Cinnamon Sugar Rim

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Garnish (optional)

  • sliced apples
  • cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine the sugar and cinnamon to make the cinnamon sugar for the glass rims.
  • Prepare the glass by running a lemon wedge on the side of a glass, then dip into the cinnamon sugar.
  • Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
  • Pour in the tequila, triple sec, lemon juice, apple cider, and maple syrup.
  • Shake to combine and chill the drink.
  • Add ice to the prepared margarita glass.
  • Pour the drink over the ice.
  • Garnish as desired with apple slices or cinnamon sticks.
  • Serve immediately.
