Ingredients

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup pickled jalapeño juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  • Add the sour cream, mayonnaise and pickled jalapeño juice in a small bowl. Stir this together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the remaining seasonings into the sauce and stir until combined.

Notes

  • Mayonnaise: can sub with a low fat version, but it will affect the texture of the sauce.
  • Sour Cream: can sub with greek yogurt.
  • Spice: For more heat add some finely diced pickled jalapeños.
  • Storage: store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Simply stir and serve when ready to use.
  • Freezer: due to the mayonnaise base of this sauce, we don't recommend freezing it.
