Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon mexican oregano

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Stir to combine and use as a dry rub, marinade or store in a sealed jar.

Notes

Storage:
  • Store the seasoning in an airtight container. Mason jars, plastic containers with tight-fitting lids, or resealable bags are all good options.
  • Use the seasoning within 6 months for best flavor.
Amount:
  • Use 1 teaspoon of seasoning mix per pound of meat as a dry rub. Recipe makes 1/4 cup of seasoning.
  • Use 2 tablespoons of seasoning to 1/4 cup of oil, and juice of 1 orange and 1 lime for a marinade.
