  • 1 pound chicken breasts boneless & skinless
  • 4 cups chicken broth low/no sodium
  • 1 (24 ounce jar) Tomato & Basil marinara sauce
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 pound pasta noodles
  • 1 (15 ounce can) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Pour the marinara sauce and chicken stock into the slow cooker. Add the chicken, diced onion and minced garlic. Cook over low heat for 6-8 hours, or high heat for 4 hours.
  • Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, place it on a plate and shred. Chicken should fall apart easily.
  • Add the chicken back to the slow cooker. Add the pasta noodles and diced tomatoes.
  • Place the lid back on and continue to cook the slow cooker on high heat for another 20 minutes, or until the pasta is fully cooked.
  • Salt and Pepper to taste. Add in the parmesan cheese and let melt on top. Serve warm and enjoy.
