Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb strawberries
  • cup water filtered, cold
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups whole milk (can sub with evaporated milk)

Instructions

  • Clean and dice strawberries.
  • Add 3/4 of the diced strawberries and the water to a blender. Blend until smooth. Strain this mixture if needed.
  • Add milk and sweetened condensed milk. Pulse in blender or stir together until combined. Add more condensed milk if needed for sweetness.
  • Add ice and remaining diced strawberries to a pitcher. Pour strawberry milk into the pitcher.
  • Serve immediately. Or if storing in refrigerator, leave ice out of the pitcher and simply store the agua de fresas in the pitcher and serve in cups filled with ice.

Notes

Milk: for a creamer drink use whole milk, or you can substitute with canned evaporated milk.
Sweetened Condensed Milk: start with a lower amount and add as needed for sweetness. Some berries may be sweeter than others.
