STEAK FAJITAS
This classic Tex Mex meal is made with tender skirt steak, a flavorful homemade marinade, plus a colorful combination of bell peppers and white onions. Serve sizzling hot with homemade tortillas for a family friendly meal that cooks in less than 30 minutes.
INGREDIENTS
Skirt Steak
Pineapple Juice
Lime Juice
Olive Oil
Soy Sauce
Garlic
Salt
Black Pepper
Oregano
Bell Peppers
White Onion
Cumin
MAKE THE MARINADE
Combine all marinade ingredients. Add steak to a large dish and cover with the marinade.
MARINATE MEAT
Seal and place in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours to marinate
COOKING STEAK
Remove steak from the marinade and pat dry. Add to a skillet for 3-5 minutes. Flip and repeat. When cooked to (135-140℉) remove and allow to rest.
SERVE
While the meat rests, saute the bell peppers & onions in the same skillet. Slice the steak thinly & serve with the peppers & onions.
