This easy to make pecan cobbler dessert has the rich flavors of a pecan pie. Plus it also has a cake like topping, and a caramel sauce that is made underneath as it bakes!
Unsalted Butter All-Purpose Flour Baking Powder Salt Light Brown Sugar Milk Vanilla Extract Chopped Pecans Hot Water
Pour melted butter into a baking dish. In a medium mixing bowl add the flour, baking powder, salt, and light brown sugar. Whisk to combine. Then stir in milk and vanilla extract.
Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish. In a small bowl combine the topping ingredients: light brown sugar and pecans. Mix until combined. Sprinkle over the top of the cake batter.
Pour hot water over the cake, make sure you are covering the entire cake evenly. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream and enjoy!
