mexican Buñuelos

These Mexican bunuelos are light, crispy and fried to a beautiful golden brown. Serve coated with cinnamon sugar and drizzled with homemade piloncillo syrup. The perfect Christmas dessert.

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour Sugar Baking powder Salt Cinnamon Avocado oil piloncillo cone Vanilla

Prepare the dough by hand or use a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment. 

Let the dough rest, then divide into 13 equal portions. Cover & rest again for 20 minutes.

Dip the dough into flour and then press out and roll into circles.

Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. 

SERVE

Serve warm with a cup of piloncillo syrup on the side for dipping.
