CHICKEN POT PIE SKILLET

This hearty, comforting Chicken Pot Pie Skillet is easy to make and perfect for a weeknight family dinner! All made in one skillet for easy clean up!

INGREDIENTS

Cooked Chicken | Butter White Onion | Garlic All-Purpose Flour | Chicken Broth Frozen Vegetables | Salt Black Pepper | Paprika Poultry Seasoning | Puff Pastry EGG WASH Egg | Milk Salt | Garlic Powder Dried Herbs of Preference

Saute garlic and onion in butter in a large cast iron skillet.  Stir in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes. Whisk in chicken broth. Add the frozen vegetables and cooked chicken. Add the seasonings.

Bring to a simmer and remove from heat.  Cut the puff pastry into desired shapes and layer over filling.

Whisk together the egg  wash brush over the top of the pastry. Sprinkle with salt, garlic powder and herbs.

Bake at 400℉ for 20-25 mins. Puff pastry will be puffed up and golden on the top. Serve warm.
