Cherry Pie Bars! Cherry Pie is made extra easy by turning the rich and buttery crust into bars layered with a sweet and tart cherry pie filling. Drizzle with a little cream cheese glaze and you will have a new favorite dessert you will want to make again and again!
Hey y’all! Are you in full Holiday mode yet? These Cherry Pie Bars are the perfect holiday dessert. The bright festive color of the cherry filling just screams Christmas to me. And if you have a fear of making pie, (which I did for many, many years, so no judging here) this is the perfect solution! These bars are so quick and easy to make. And honestly, I think they taste even better than a traditional pie! Because y’all…the crust is so dang good. It’s rich and buttery and just the right amount of sweet.
I got the idea for these bars from an old Better Homes & Garden magazine that I have. It’s only a couple of years old. But I’m pretty sure I’ve told you that I hoard food magazines. I topped these bars with an easy to make cream cheese glaze which really put them over the top!

I put 2 cans of cherry pie filling on top, because it didn’t seem like enough. It worked out well. I had it in the oven a little longer, though. Good recipe. We love cherry anything!!!
